"What do artists teach? Learning is an experience that may occur at any given moment, a shared ability that we improve throughout our lifetimes. A lesson, the framework allowing the organization of learning, is a period of time dedicated to acquisition of knowledge and experience within the ongoing sequence of events that surround us. It is also what we remember and what remains with us from those experiences, the “moral”. The lessons we learn change constantly, often being revisited and expanded by layers of further learning and study partners that join us along the way. ‘Live lessons' is an exhibition that views these processes, of learning and its orchestration, as creative processes."
